Fine Books & Collections

Imprint Press | Imprint Press specializes in wonderful hand letterpress printed greeting cards and social stationary. They sell wholesale to retailers. Their letterpress greeting cards would be a wonderful addition to any bookstore!

Ken Sanders Rare Books | "Creating chaos out of anarchy for a better tomorrow." Ken Sanders Rare Books, of Salt Lake City, is one of my favorite rare book shops I've stepped foot in. Mostly used and rare with a smattering of new books, Ken Sanders specializes in Edward Abbey, Wallace Stegner, B. Traven, Utah and the Mormons, Modern First Editions, Grand Canyon, Colorado River & Colorado Plateau, Western Americana, Native Americans, The Intermountain West, Southwest, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Wilderness & National Parks, Public Lands, the Environment, Explorations & Surveys, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and the Literary West.

Owner, Ken Sanders, is one of those singular characters in the rare book world that you will never forget. Ken was recently featured in the true crime biblio-detective novel,"The Man Who Loved Books Too Much," the story of Ken Sanders aiding in tracking down notorious book thief, John Gilkey. A great read, and a great used and rare bookstore.

Back of Beyond Books | If you're ever passing through Moab, Utah be sure to make a stop at the Back of Beyond book and coffee shop. A mix of new and used books relating to all sorts of subjects, with a particular emphasis on the American southwest, there is always a good read within arms length. The Back of Beyond has that rare feel that so many bookstores lack these days. In addition to brewing a tasty cup'o'joe, they have a nice rare and antiquarian section as well.

Powell's Bookstore | Had I not already visited the widely acclaimed Powell's bookstore in Portland, Oregon it would likely be in my top ten places to visit before I die. Powell's is the quintessential book experience for me. Encompassing nearly an entire city block and five stories tall, Powell's might come off as overwhelming at first glance. A pioneer in the used book world, Powell's was one of the first stores to mix used and new books on the same shelf. Despite the size of the store, it is easily navigated and often has that "cozy" feel I enjoy in much smaller shops. Make sure you visit the rare book room upstairs to peruse some real gems.

Sam Weller's Bookstore | Sam Weller's bookstore is a virtual landmark located on Main street in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Established in 1929, they have grown to be one of the best bookstores in the US. With over a million used and new books on their shelves, at any given time, there's generally something for everyone.

Oak Knoll Books | Oak Knoll Books is the foremost publisher of fine "books on books." In addition to their extensive publishing, they are also the world's largest purveyor of used and rare "books on books." A must visit bookstore and website for the true bibliophile.
